Bad Faith are a four-piece rock covers band based in central Cambridgeshire. The band comprises:
Rich Lewis - Guitar & vocals
Playing in bands and writing songs since he was 17, Rich is Bad Faith’s lead guitarist. A self-confessed gearhead, Rich’s axes of choice are a Fender Japan 52 Reissue Telecaster, a custom-built Stratocaster and an Orville by Gibson 1959 Reissue Les Paul, all of which he plays through a Marshall DSL50 amp. He cites his main influences as Mick Ronson, Jimi Hendrix and David Gilmour.
Chris Brown - Guitar, vocals and harmonica
Chris says that becoming a musician was something that happened to him slightly later in life and he now realises that he really missed out by waiting so long! He is influenced by not only the soundtracks of his youth such as Paul Weller and GnR's, but also more modern artists such as Foo Fighters and Noel Gallagher. His main squeezes guitar-wise are a good old Fender Telecaster, a Stratocaster with a Les Paul thrown in for some extra grit. Motto: give it a go!
Matt Steward - Drums
Matt bought his kit from One Direction drummer Josh Devine after having his other kit nicked. He first picked up a set of sticks at 21 and hasn’t practised so hard in his life. He is currently saving up for another cymbal and always brings his own seat to gigs. His main influence is beer as he has given up the fags.
Rick Sivier - Bass
Like many bass players, Rick can't play guitar, so is made to stand at the back behind the proper musicians. Fortunately, bass guitars have nice big strings and you only have to play one note at a time, so he is generally happy.
As a band we have no agendas, we have no claim to great art, we just play damn fine rock 'n' roll.
